While the world was watching the Olympics, fifty-seven of Canada’ s best and brightest young musicians got together at a studio in Vancouver to record a song…not just any song, but a song that would reach out and help recovery efforts in earthquake ravaged Haiti.  It was a huge project, put together by music icon Bob Ezrin, who has produced the likes of Pink Floyd, KISS, and Alice Cooper.  The song, is a re-write of hip-hop artist, K'naan's "Wavin' Flag". Artists include Justin Bieber, Drake, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, and Sam Roberts.  The song and the video just became available for purchase digitally today…it is a powerful song and a powerful video…all to help children in Haiti where the need is still so great. Ezrin says he was astounded by the energy and unity of the young Canadian artists as they came together to help the people of Haiti and they did it with no egos, just love, passion and a magnificent generosity of spirit. 

All proceeds from the sale of the single will equally benefit Free The Children, War Child Canada and World Vision Canada and their individual efforts on-the-ground in Haiti to provide short-term relief, mid-term rebuilding and longer-term education and training.
